Carsten Bund is a German-born artist whose practice spans traditional painting, conceptual art, and generative digital works. Trained at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg under Professor Bernd Koberling in the early 1980s, Bund combines classical technique with contemporary software-driven methods.

His art explores themes of emotion, perception, and code-based structures, bridging painterly intuition with algorithmic process. Bund has exhibited internationally, including in Germany and the United States, and is known for pushing the boundaries of generative art through his experience as both a visual artist and a professional programmer.
